London Bike Shed

The London Bike shed is made from high quality Red Wood Tongue and Groove cladding. Standard framing are 50mm x 25mm battens with diagonal supports for strength and stability, The roof and floor are made from O.S.B  boarding which gives strength and durability and it is also moisture resistant. The floor has runners (50mm x 25mm Pressure Treated battens) spaced approximately 1' apart to give adequate air flow. The Roof has main and Intermediate beams for roof strength and is overlayed with a good quality green mineral felt. Plastic Safety glass is included although an option to upgrade to 4mm toughened glass is available.

All buildings are spray treated for Woodworm and Dry Rot. A waterproof treatment will need to be applied shortly after installation and repeated  every year or to manufactures directions. Alternatively an option for 100% pressure treatment is available which gives protection for Woodworm and Dry Rot and has a built-in water repellent.
