We now sell Cedar Shingles, also known as Cedar Shakes, as a great quality option for the roof of your garden shed, workshop or summer house.

Cedar Shingles not only look great, available in a reddish brown colour, but they are extremely durable and resistant too. The aesthetically pleasing nature of the colour and design of the roof ensures that you're adding further lasting value to your garden building; as well as adding protection. The rustic appearance can transform a garden shed into something much more impressive and noticeable. A felt roof in comparison provides protection, but in nothing like the extent as the protection provided by a Cedar Shingle roof.

To underline how protective a cedar shingle roof can be, you need only look at how well the roofing withstands gusts of wind. Due to the design, shape and formation, a cedar shingle roof can withstand wind speeds of up to 245mph. Or in other words, in the UK at least, the roof is designed to hold strong even in the worst of storms.

As well as wind speed, they are great for withstanding poor weather too. Our strong and well sourced wood means that not only are Cedar Shingles are a renewable source, but they are strong enough to take the punishment of hailstones, strong winds and heavy rain without being damaged or showing any signs of deformation.
