At Ace Sheds, all of our buildings are manufactured using 100% pressure-treated timber as standard. Pressure treatment is one of the best ways to protect timber against fungal decay and insect attack, giving your building a long-lasting foundation.

However, it's important to understand that pressure treatment is not a waterproof finish.

To help protect your building from the effects of the British weather, we recommend applying a quality waterproofing treatment during the early stages of your building's life. This helps build up a protective barrier against rain and moisture, preserving both the appearance of the timber and its long-term performance.

Our Factory Base Treatment service is designed to provide your building with a strong level of initial waterproofing protection before it even leaves our workshop.

During manufacture, our experienced team carefully applies two coats of high-quality Protek wood treatment to all accessible exterior surfaces of your building.

This helps build up protection against rain and moisture whilst saving you many hours of work after installation, allowing you to enjoy your new building sooner.
